You deserve a holiday. Every day. It’s ok if your life right now is consumed by kids, but it’s not ok to forget to take care of yourself. And no this doesn’t mean a shower or taking time to sit down with your coffee. 

At Moms on Holiday we are all about healthy everyday escapes, those vacay vibes, taking mini holidays. Our lives are busy, let’s all slow down and enjoy a moment for ourselves. A physical and mental escape from our daily grind.

TAKE A MOVEMENT CLASS

Well duh, come escape with us. We have movement classes ranging from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. Every class was designed with moms in mind and made to give you that much needed break you want, need and deserve. Become a member.

GO FOR A WALK AND TALK

This is a favorite for me. Especially when the sun is shining and I’ve been sitting inside all day. Put on your shoes, call a friend that brings the positive vibes and get moving. If your friend doesn’t pick up, try this playlist. You’ll really feel those vacay vibes.

SOLO DANCE PARTY

Put on a cute outfit. Yeah, that’s right, time to take off the legging and make yourself a mocktail. Or coffee or wine, whatever you need. Turn up the music and start dancing. If it’s a song you love, grab that hair brush, wine bottle, baby toy microphone and start singing. Dancing and singing is incredibly beneficial for your physical and mental health. 10 minutes of dancing can burn up to 60 calories. So, go shake what your mama gave ya!

As moms we all talk about not having time for ourselves. Let’s change that narrative and start making time for ourselves. Take a holiday every day whether it’s 5 minutes or 5 hours. And you’ll begin to notice improvements to your overall well-being.
